I help people meet their health, fitness, and weight loss goals by teaching them to develop lifelong skills and consistency through daily habit practice, so that they can feel confident, strong, and healthy.
On any given day, you can find me managing or training at Anytime Fitness in Tyngsboro, which I own and operate with my husband, Eric, and family, or spending time with my sweet toddler Delilah, who will be 2 in March 2018.
My formal degree is in Psychology at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, but I’ve never stopped learning since graduation.
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT- ISSA), Specialist in Fitness Nutrition (ISSA), and have completed FMS Level 1&2, StrongFirst Level 1. I love strength training and encourage all my clients to be strong enough to live fully without pain or injury.
When you strength train, everything else you ask of your body easier to complete. Mentally, I find that strength training also breeds higher self-esteem, self-confidence, and willpower. I love to seeing my clients make progress towards their goals, whether it’s achieved through more weight on the bar, more pullups, consistent fat loss, greater range of movement, or even in the discovery of newfound physical abilities in real life.
My other goal and passion is to help YOU and so many other women like yourself to overcome feelings of frustration and helplessness you feel towards your body and the foods that you eat.
Because I KNOW that frustration. I spent the better part of a decade dieting and stressing out over my food choices and body image. It’s an exhausting way to live, and I’m committed to helping those who are looking for a different way.
This site is both for you and for me. I hope that you learn something new, but even more so I hope that you actually USE some of my ideas in order to create a happier and more fulfilling life.
